About Camp Crystal Lake

Camp Crystal Lake is an independent, unofficial fan guide to Crystal Lake (2026) — the Peacock series from A24 and showrunner Brad Caleb Kane that serves as a spiritual prequel to Friday the 13th. We cover the season in depth: recaps of all eight episodes, the ending explained, character and cast guides, the full franchise timeline, and the series' canon changes.

How we work

Episode pages are written from the season as broadcast, cross-checked against official synopses and contemporaneous press coverage. We don't invent plot details.
Renewal and streaming pages (season 2, where to watch) are dated and updated whenever the status changes.
Franchise history draws on the films themselves and standard references; where story years are approximate, we say so.
